find the vram ic's;pick up the points before the resistor runs into the big chip, be gentle with your iron, the smd resistors will easily overheat.
Do not touch the big chips with your hand or iron! |
find the av sync point that will be your main point to all pionts of the vram. or take the ground
connect wires to the vram points. First pre-solder the points with a little bit of solder. Strip a wire and solder the ends proper, no unsoldered wire should be seen. Then cut the end of the wire so have a 2 millimeter soldered wire left. Then hold the end of wire against the pre-soldered point and hold the iron against the wire. The wire gets heated and will connect to the point. Conenct the other side of the wire to a switch and connect the middle point of the switch to the general av sync point.
